Our favorite eco wood finish ⬇️ We strive to Our favorite eco wood finish ⬇️ We strive to use products that align with our eco-conscious values and help us DIY in a sustainable, non-toxic way. @rubiomonocoatusa products are our favorite eco wood finishes because they're plant based, zero-VOC, and they even plant a verified tree for every order! Why we don't use traditional finishes anymore 👇 🛠 Many stains and paints release harmful chemicals (VOCs) and continue to do so afterwards. It can happen on simple things like not using waterproof glue on an outdoor planter box. BUT we were able to fix it with a neat trick 😏 We would honestly make a TON more mistakes if we didn't create DIY plans to follow! They're much more helpful than a napkin sketch with some size and quantities scribbled on it 😬 We like details and models to ensure we won't make major mistakes or a piece of furniture won't go together. But with a little planning and thoughtful choices, you can create something amazing without compromising the planet!
